Description
A thick, non-runny consistency solvent based synthitic rubber sealant. It dries on atmospheric release of the solvent to form a flexible film that is resistant to oil, petrol, water and other chemicals associated with engineering, automotive and construction industries.
Application
Can be used in a wide variety of engineering and construction applications. As a seam sealer, in can be applied to any overlapping joints and seams, either horizontal or vertical as it does not string, slump, run or crack. As an adhesive or coating, DP 1773AD exhibits good adhesion to most surfaces including metal, heating and ventilation ducts installation. Once dried it an be overpainted with most paint finishes. The cure sealant is totally imprevious to water, will remain flexible with withstand vibration and flexing.
